dc.descriptionABSTRACT Modern manufacturing systems are automated machines that perform the required task. The DC motor is perhaps the most widely used industrial energy converter whose performance decrease over time. In this work, an experimental data is used to create a mathematical model of the DC motor for performance analysis. Using state space analysis and Matlab, information on the internal behaviour of the DC motor are obtained and based on the design specification; a controller is designed to improve the performance.en_US
