dc.description.abstractdynamics. Previous studies have lamented the need for the engagement of BIM actors and change in organisational culture and structure for an effective BIM implementation. However, the degree to which adopting BIM affects Nigerian firms' organisational structure and culture is yet to be ascertained. This study filled this gap in the literature through a quantitative research approach. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from thirty-five (35) Architectural Engineering and Construction (ARC) firms using a snowballing sampling technique. Data collected was analysed using descriptive statistical methods. The study's findings show that BIM adoption has more effect on the organisational culture than the structure. This gives insight into the resilience of ARC firms in Nigeria at the advent of change in operational mode towards adapting to the modern dynamic and highly competitive market. Considering the aparent limitations of this study, it is recommended that longitudinal research studies should be conducted to gain deeper insight on BIM adoption and its effect on organisational dynamics for a clearer and vivid representation.
