dc.description.abstractThis Project is Titled "LAUNCHING A NEW PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT. A CASE STUDY OF GLAXO NIG. LTD. AND PFIZER NIG. LTD." The writer is concerned about the problems associated with the launching of new pharmaceutical products leading to failures in most cases of such products in achieving the firms objectives and goals. Thus the project is centered on the causes and remedies of new product failures in the pharmaceutical market. Most of the findings are based on informations obtained from many of the pharmaceutical firms operating in Nigeria. The secret to successful launches by the two leading pharmaceutical firms in Nigeria by the name Glaxo Nig. Ltd, and Pfizer Nig. are adopted in this write up to enable other pharmaceutical firms benefit immensely in the activities that preceed the commercialization of a new pharmaceutical product. Vital recommendations are given to enabling the pharmaceutical firms achieve their set financial objectives and goals product-wise.en_US
