Abstract
This study had tour related purposes. The first purpose was to determine existing differences in probability knowledge and in attitudes toward mathematics or grades six through eight students by sex and grade prior to probability intervention. The other purposes were to analyze the eirects of instruction on probability skill development, on attitudes toward mathematics, and toward probability, by sex and grade.
