There was no significant difference on the level of awareness of counsellors’ duties and responsibilities with regards to observed and expected mean scores, gender, age, religion and private and public variables. The findings also revealed that most of the secondary school students do not patronize the counsellors in their schools. Students should be made to know the importance of counsellors in the school. Also the principal should be educated on the need to encourage student to approach counsellors whenever they are faced with problems | en_US |
