The population of this study was 1,736 which comprised secondary school students in Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State as at May 2025. The sample size of this study was 315. The study concluded that information resources are in short supply in secondary school libraries in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The secondary school students revealed that they use information resources such as textbooks, reports, Internet, dictionaries, radio, television, video tapes and folklore for their lifelong learning. The study recommended among others that the management of school libraries in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State should encourage teachers and school librarians by giving them special incentives that will motivate them to create necessary awareness on the use of information resources to the students. This will change the students’ impression as regards the use of the school libraries.
