Abstract
The journal “Samaru Journal of Information Studies (SJIS)” addresses issues in the field of library science, information science and related fields including but not limited to, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) applications to effectively create, apply, and communicate knowledge in organization. The basic objectives of the journal are (i) to provide current thoughts and research reports on developments and trends in the areas of Library and information science, academic, school, national and special librarianship. (ii) to provide a platform for new thinking and directions on the problems, prospects strategies and techniques of library and information services and ICT applications in library, archive, publishing and information works. (iii) to provide a forum for discussion of library and information science education and training, and future trends in information access and delivery. Contributors should submit a copy of the article typed using Microsoft Word, double line spacing using a 12-point font with a 1-inch Margin. The author’s name, title, e-mail address and place of work should appear on the title page. On the inner page, only the title should be repeated, followed by an abstract and then the main body of the article. The article should not be more than twenty pages long. References and notes should be indicated in the text with names of authors and date of publication in brackets according to the APA style.
