Human beings being the most valuable asset an organisation can possess should not be taken for granted. Without them in the organisation all other resources put together will not be useful. For effective and efficient utilisation of resources and improved job performance, workers need to be motivated. There are things that make workers perform maximally and improve their performance on the job. Managers need to know what motivates and encourage workers to work harder and improve their performance. It is in view of this that the study of the Effects of Motivation on Job Performance in the Public Sector, with emphasis on National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) Kaduna Distribution Zone is being carried out.en_US
