The proposal on the marketing of Services in Private Educational sector of the economy stemmed from the failure of many private schools low-a-days of which no concrete solution has been found. The failure has not been limited to those that is just coming into private school but also the well and long established ones. This project therefore tries to highlight some of the services the public expected from private schools or which are essential if private schools are to survive in the next twenty years with the current economic depression. The project apart from spelling out the neccessary services in the private school, but also gave some recommendations for its implementation which if followed strickly would lead to successful running of private schools. The researcher has therefore chosen some selected private schools in Zaria and Kaduna metropolis as a case study which brought into focus the theoretical discussion of the project. The write-up is a five chapters essay. Chapter one is for introduction where preliminary discussions, definition of problem, hypotheses, the purpose/significance of study, scope of the study and the limitation of the study were made. Chapter two discussed the theoretical literature review, while chapter three was based on the research methodology. Chapter four dealt with the compilation od data, Data analysis and testing of hypothesis, while chapter five the concluding chapter. Here, some of the researcher,s observations and recommendations to Board of school council / proprietors, Ministry of Education and the government were made. Effort was however made to avoid technical complications thus using simple expressions as most of those connected may not be versed with such technicalities or mathematical computations for explaining a problem, thereby regarding the research / project as mere theoretical exercise.en_US
