The growth regulators were more effective in the wet season thnn in the dry season. The treatment of Gibberellic acid and kinetin at 600 ppm was the most effective combination showing significant effects on the total fresh weight and bulb fresh weight. In the dry season, Gibberellic acid, at 600 ppm hod the highest effect on the total fresh weight, bulb and leaf fresh weight and bulb diameter. Kinetin (K) had an inhibitory effect at (900 ppm) higher concentrations while Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) hnri a stimulatory effect at the same level. IAA had no effect at low concentrations (300 ppm).
