Abstract
The topic of this research is “Management of Conflict in Business
Organization” A Study of Coca-cola (Nigeria Bottling Company Plc). The
study is designed to examine more critically, issues of management of
conflicts in Business Organization. This is because where there are two
or more people working together to attain a goal, there is bound to be
conflict.
The chapter one forms the introductory aspect of the project work. The
study also reviews the various works of different writers on the subject
matter. In the course of the research, various instruments were
employed in collecting both primary and secondary data. The data
collected were also analyzed using different methods.
Data were also subjected to rigorous analysis in order to determine the
research hypothesis objectives. The last chapter contains the summary,
conclusion and recommendations.
For an organization to survive and attain its objectives, proper conflict
resolution procedures should be put in place for efficient and full
participation of the workers. The following are recommended:
1) Managers should engage only in conflict that focuses on issues of
group goals rather than that focus on personality or selfish interest
of individuals.
2) Healthy conflict should be stimulated and employees should be
assigned higher responsibilities with a clearly defined boundary
