Abstract
This thesis is concerned with pricing and Distribution policies. The study aimed at examining thoroughly the Pricing and distribution policies used by United Nigerian Textiles PLC. in selling its products to the consumers. In order to facilitate the research work data were collected from both the primary and secondary sources. Personal interviews were also used as a supplement for data collection. The exploratory method of research was used in the course of the study. The research population covered both the staff and management of the organization. Of the total questionnaires administered were analysed by means of simple percentage. The study was organised into five chapters. The first chapter, which was purely introductory, concerned itself with the background information, statement of the problem. the research question, purpose of study, significance of study, hypothesis of study, limitations and scope of study and methodology. Chapter two focused mainly on literature review covering all such areas as the pricing strategy and policy, setting prices, distribution strategy and policy, customer buying behaviour and other related topics. While chapter three deals mainly with research methodology of the study, analysis and presentation of data was carried out in chapter four. Finally, in chapter five, the study was summarized and concluded and based on findings, appropriate recommendations were made.
