Abstract
Since all states are answerable to the Federal
Government, Liaison Offices have been established to serve
as links between the Federal seat and the states so as to
cut down the Bureaucracy in the communication between the
two bodies. Being a representational building, representing
the state in the Federal Government seat, it therefore
stands the function of providing all necessary informations
concerning the state.
This thesis fundamentally seeks to look into the present
approach of liaison offices design based on their function
and propose a design that will go beyond the office and
guest accommodation approach but also pay attention to how
the states artefacts and important features could be
displayed. This will of course increase the information
capability of Liaison Offices.
The thesis also seeks to consider the government workers
in the design of the accommodation facility. Attention also
has been paid to recreactional facilities in such an
environment to enliven the users
