Abstract
The research on " Grains Marketing in Katsina State" was designed and conducted purposely to investigate the problems of grains marketing faced by marketers in some local government areas of the state so also of farmers and farm produce consumers; prospects of grains marketing in the mentioned areas were also dealt with to some extent. In literature review, different views were sought and got from authorities in marketing and grains productions some of these views got were similar while others were completely opposite. The data collected were got through the use of questionnaire, interview and observation. In data analysis, simple percentage was used so as to make it easily for interested readers to go through and understand instead of boring and discouraging them with complicated data analysis which need knowledge of statistics for proper understanding. Based on the finding, suggestions on improving grains marketing were made, these are more on the government, it local, state and federal because of the need for more subsidy in farming and farming related activities so as to keep the majority of Nigerians [farmers] employed because grains marketing is dependent on grains production and processing
