Abstract
ABSTRACT. This work was conducted in the field of Hausa literature, in the area of written drama that was written, played and replayed in many media houses especially the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (F.R.C.N) Kaduna. The research was on a renowned actor and play write who has written and performed in many of these plays. This person is no other than the famous Samanja Mazan Fama. In this research, some of the plays he has written and participated in, and aired to the teeming interested audience, were selected and studied in six different perspectives that affected Houseman’s life. There include his education, religion, politics, culture, economy and way of living. The whole work was in five chapters. Chapter one included introduction, statement of the of the problem, objective and the significance of the research. It also included the hypothesis as well as the history of Hausa drama in redio houses and the biography of Samanja. The chapter two discussed the literature review, that is, works carried out by other authors that are related to the research topic. Chapter three looked at the contributions given by Samanja Mazan Fama in the areas of education, religion and politics in the plays he has written and acted in. in chapter four, the research studied culture, economy and togetherness from some of his selected plays. The themes of the plays were also studied. And followed by the references and the appendix that contains the list of cassettes that were used during the course of this research all in Duniya Budurwar Wawa.
