| dc.description.abstract | ACEIS and CCBS are anti-hypertensives that are useful in mild to moderate and severe hypertension resistant to all other drugs. The actions, uses, side effects and contra indications of hese drugs were evaluated in this work and compared to that seen in literature. This work was carried out in Cardiac Clinic of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Tudun-Wada, Zaria using two groups, one of t h i r t y (31) patients and the other of forty-nine (49) patients. Informations were obtained from patients folders and by interviewing the patients and by administering questionnaires. The results were analyzed using tables, bar charts and pie charts and compared with what was seen in the literature. | en_US |
