This study was conducted to appraise the Implementation of Information Technology in Business Education Programme in Four Federal Universities in Nigeria. The sample population of the study consisted two hundred and forty (240) students and fifteen (15) teachers from the Business Education Department in the four universities. The students were selected using the simple random sampling method while the teachers' population was considered not too large and therefore the census (whole) was adopted. Questionnaire and documentary evidences were used in gathering data which were statistically analyzed and interpreted. Four null-hypotheses were formulated and tested using the t-test. All the null-hypotheses showed no significant differences in the opinions of the teachers and the students in terms of availability of I.T materials and equipments, Business Education Curriculum, funding and manpower in Business Education. The findings of the study revealed that the available I.T materials and equipment were inadequate so much so that I.T related subjects were taught theoretically. The finding also revealed that the curriculum did not make adequate provision for the teaching of I.T subjects in Business Education. The finding revealed that the Business Education Departments of the Schools studied were under funded and thus cannot procure and maintain Information Technology equipment and materials. The fourth finding reveals that the departments do not have enough manpower to teach IT subjects. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the drawback in the implementation of Information Technology in Business Education Programme was as a result of a combination of the different factors earlier mentioned and it was recommended that funds should be made available for the procurement of IT equipment by all stakeholders. Teachers should be given opportunities for training and retaining in Information Technology skills to be more competent in teaching. These recommendations among others if put into practice will lead to the achievement of the objective of Business Education which is to produce competent, skillful, self reliant and responsible citizens in Nigeria.en_US
