dc.description.abstract | Whether or not contemporary criticisms have accepted that the subject "symbolic expression of power" is an aphorism or a metaphor of the new pluralist vocabulary, an evaluation of its subjective constituents is what this thesis intends to highlight. The design of the national institute for policy and strategic studies is intended to depict the symbolic power expression searching for an appropriate philosophical and evocative concept in context and character to which such an abstract analogy can be deduced in form and function when addressing the issue with adequate and sufficient architectural justification, the institute as a national think - tant of the nation deserves the appearance of a powerful building. The contemplation of a symbolic codification for a facility especially where the aim is sending a powerful message of monumental expressionism, hierarchy and grandeur constitute the composition of which elements and style principally form the components of power in symbolic delight. The Task to find the appropriate means of symbolism in cultural, technical, material or historic concept about power constitute the necessary keynotes to which the design of the national institute base its architectural proposition. Here as with so many architecture of celebrating symbols and values lies the architect's ability for eclectic abstract imagination to distinguish extensively the proponents and components of signolism from symbolism. | en_US |
