Abstract
Abubakar Gimba is a novelist who through his writing seeks to re-invent the Nigerian dream. In each of his novel, he delves into the complex socio-political problems confronting Nigeria and blames the country's general state of underdevelopment on the moral weaknesses of its citizens. It is implied in Gimba's novels that if Nigerians want to actualize the dream of the founding fathers of their nation they must trod the path of Honour and morality in everything they do. This is t h e o n l y way they can build a prosperous, united and democratic Nigeria. This project is a critical appraisal of Gimba's passionate search for Honour and Morality in Nigeria as enunciated in his novels.
