dc.description.abstractTHE BAPTIST STUDENT FELLOWSHIP (B.S.F.) an organisation comprising of students in various Baptist Churches. The Lagos chapter of the organisation know as LAGOS STATE BAPTIST STUDENT FELLOWSHIP(L.S.B.S.F.) Do held her annual conference meeting tugged "Refreshing", The venue for the refreshing have been shifted from one place to another for the past few years because of lack of a permanent place for the conference and the programs. This the B.S.F. are in need of a center capable to accommodate their population and serve in the service of all their functions. In the course of providing a conference center for use by the Baptist student fellowship. The author investigated the mode of Baptist worship, and how a Christian conference center should look like and suit the Baptist and taking some case-study of existing conference center locally and internationally. In addition, the influence of Pentecostalism on church (ecclesiastical) Architecture is considered. From all collected data and foregoing findings, the author trains his conclusion that the Architecture of a Christian Conference center should be guided by various Architectural styles ranging from Ecclesiastical Architecture to International style. The Architectural symbolism was also employ in the main structure of the center making the building a servant of the gospel. He concluded further that the design of the Baptist student conference center should give a thought to contemporary integrity, theological, simple and beautiful in appearance.en_US
