Abstract
A B S T R A C T
This thesis topic depicts a place serving "both as a
Liason Office cum cultural centre. The complex is to
project the two images. At the same time serving the
interest of the state0 And the indigenes and non indigenes
resident or non resident within the area of designation.
This thesis is hypothetical in the sense that it is being
sited in Abuja, and projections for the design done
according to the hypothetical assumptions available in
Abuja. It is envisaged that the population of Abuja (as
the seat of the Federal Government) would stand at six
million. A substantial amount of this population being
Imo State indigenes, resident and working away from their
cultural environmentt. The link to that environment should
be sustained in the Federal Capital. The Liason Office
serves the purpose of representing the State within the

and hierarchy, spatial analysis and evaluate the
information and use them as a bssis towards evolving a
buildings that reflect certain attributes of a particular
region.
