ABSTRACTS
This study has examined the concept of foreign exchange management
in Nigeria, considering the role of the Central Bank of Nigeria
(CBN) as the apex financial institution and statutorily authorised
foreign exchange member of the Nigerian economy.
To have an efficiently managed foreign exchange operations and
markets, this research work has shown the powers and tools the CBN
has in stock, and the use of these resources in achieving its
goals.
Also, from this research, one could see the effects of the.
activities of the other operators in the foreign exchange market
coupled with administration and irresponsible governance.
The researcher has proposed some solutions to the problems facing
foreign exchange management in this study.
