Abstract
This work is an attempt to investigate and bring to light the Human Resources Management Practice of the Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemicals Company Limited (KRPC). The interest of the researcher in this particular topic was aroused from the observation that staffers of this organisation (KRPC) hardly embark on strikes. They go about their normal duties daily, weekly, monthly and year after year with very few strikes recorded unlike other Federal Government Workers. With a total work force of about Two Thousand Two hundred and Forty (2,240) workers. KRCP cannot be said to be a small organisation but the number of the staffers manning the Human Resources Department can be said to be relatively small with less than twenty (20) staffers yet their performance is high as they achieve their ultimate goals. interviews were equally randomly conducted on few employees at sight. The few recommendations put forward in chapter five are objectively aimed at perfecting the policies and practice of personnel operations to make it more vibrant efficient, effective and more dynamic. However they are not exhaustive. vi
