Abstract
This research titled: “A Linguistic Analysis of The Syllabic Changes of Arabic Loan Words In Hausa: “Magana JariCe as A Case Study" comprises of four chapters and conclusion. In chapter one, the study provides the fundamental requirements of the research. In chapter two, there is historical background of Arabic and Hausa languages and their linguistic relationships, with reference to “Magana Jari ce” (Speech is a Capital) and its writer (Abubakar Imam). Chapter three constitutes of substantial discussion of the features of Arabic loan words in Hausa, lexical items from Arabic. In chapter four, the researcher tends to analyze the data found in the Hausa novel “Magana Jarice" which includes phonological changes impacted by Hausa cultural context.
