Abstract
Lack of facilities of Kaduna State Local Government Secretariats is a common thing which should be a concern and it demands urgent attention. It's uncommon to have all the six departments of Local Government Secretariat at close proximity. To have people of common interest having offices at different far locations is obviously a reduction of efficiency and a cause of inconvenience. Bringing people of same interest and goals together is a way of achieving much efficiency and dedication to work. With reference to Lere Local Government having it's headquarter at Saminaka, the sprayed structures at distances of up to five kilometers, have no any cultural expression. This may be due to modernity. But modernity in itself doesn't always mean progress, neither did traditional values mean stagnation. It is therefore very important to have a design of Lere Local Government Secretariat showing some of their traditional values expressed on the building.
