dc.description.abstractThroughout the 300 years history of the newspaper worldwide, it has undergone different transformation. In the recent decades, the changes have been economical, sociological, and technological which virtually touched all other human enterprises, but one true quality of the newspaper that has remained forever constant is its purpose of information di ssemi nati on. 'The Voice, the Benue State's own newspaper is not left out in the information business, but because it lacks some facilities of a newspaper house, it does not generate enough fund for the running of company. This thesis is therefore aimed at providing for all facilities lacked and also study into areas that can. become additional function with a view to making the company generate more fund. The means of generating more profit is dealt with in chapter five and chapter four also deals with the newspaper production process. • At the end of the study, a design proposal for the newspaper company was put forward, where the newspaper production and the additional function were integrated in a compact design.en_US
