Every nation as an independent country needs an association or organization to represent her in the international arena so as to protect her interest and enhance her diplomatic relations to the host country and the world at large. Therefore, this study is triggered by a need to have a high commission of Bangladesh in Nigeria so that she can represent her people and increase the international relations between the two countries. As a broad approach, this study looks at vernacular architecture of Bangladesh, monumental buildings historical sites and goes ahead to study diplomacy, diplomatic architecture through book reviews and case studies of some existing embassies and high commissions. From these studies it makes an attempt at harmonizing Bangladeshi architecture that is traditional to the location into the proposed design such that it can be easily identified to the place and her people.en_US
