Abstract
The introduction of the Second Tier Foreign Exchange Market by the ruling military regime has brought about many business outfits springing upon a daily basis. Thus there is the need for a well planed office environment where creative thinking communications and . adequate dissemination of information could be achieved. The thesis therefore shall feature principally corporate architecture with special focus on the concept of space flexibility. This concept of space shall be examined within the context of the science of space flexibility in an ideal office design as well as feature general philosophies of office architecture. Chapter 1 of the thesis features the preambles and the aims and objectives couplet) with the realisation of the scheme as well as • the research methodology employed in the thesis. The second chapter examines the relevant literature on what office is, its functions , types and merits and demerits. The successive chapters feature the phenomenon and concept of space and form composition in architecture and the relevant case studies of existing offices or corporate outfits both local and international with a view of realising the basic facts involved in design of offices. The later chapters comprise the study of the site area and the design brief as well as other functional requirements. The last chapter concludes and states the contributions and suggestions to the architectural education.
