The research further focuses on the approach adopted by organisations that has implemented the concept and the rate of success achieved. The issue of quality certification, in terms of the ISO 9000 and 14000 series, are also examined. From this research work with emphasis from Diamond Bank PIc we are able to ascertain the level of awareness of TQM in the organization. The management staff middle cadre to top management staff of the organization's awareness and the success tale in the bank is very high. We were able to ascertain that TQM is a very good management function and has helped in improvement of the organization. Even though the level of awareness of ISO 9000 and 14000 by member of staff is not very high but TQM has improved the organization effectiveness and efficiency both to external and internal customers of the bank. The study led to a number of conclusions: While many top executives of organisations in Nigeria are aware of TQM, the level of actual implementation is very low. Most organisations that have implemented TQM engaged the services of external consultants and the success rate have been high. The efforts to get Quality standards certification in terms of ISO 9000 and 14000 series are almost non-existent
