It is in line with this development that this reseach attempts to explore the nature and forms of tragi-comedy as can be discern from Hausa films. The thesis therefore in chapter one discusses the problems of the study and its significance, a review of the releted literature partaining to tragedy, comedy, the type, forms and features of tragi-comedy can be seen in chapter two.
