in particular and of entire Qira’at in general. It discussed the bases of
seven Ahruf and highlighted the relevance, differences between them and
authentic Qira’at. The research analyzed the role and contribution of the
Qira’at to other Islamic and |Arabic sciences with particular reference to
the implication of the seven famous Qira’at on Qur’anic exegesis, by citing
some examples related to that. Furthermore, it displayed the important

education. The research as a descriptive in nature, based on verses of the
Glorious Qur’an and Sunnah of the Prophet (S.A.W) as well as views of
classical scholars, in analyzing the concept of Qira’at. The methodology of
Qira’at scholars is adopted in this research. The researcher, succeeded in
finding out that the differences in Qira’at give an absolute right of choice
to Muslim to recite the Glorious Qur’an in any easier authentic way he wish
without any exception. It also succeeded in discovering that the Qira’at
