Abstract
This study investigated the effects of change management factors on the performance of employees of GSM companies in Nigeria. The study adopted a cross sectional survey research design. The target population was 235 employees. A sample size of 148 employees was determined using Yamane (1967) sample size formula. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the respondents. The data were collected using personal self administration of questionnaire with the help of research assistants. The data were processed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 to perform regression analysis that was used to test the hypotheses formulated and to determine the effect of change management predictor variables on employees' performance. The study found a positive and significant effect between communication, leadership and motivation on employees' performance. Communication and motivation were found to be the best predictors of employees' performance of GSM companies in Nigeria. The variables jointly explained 57% of the variance of employees' performance in the organizations. The study recommended that management should encourage employees' performance by employing communication and motivation factors that allow employees feedback and ensure effective training and praise for outstanding innovation and creativity towards enhancing performance.
