The financial resources and the criteria applied by the company in financing viable projects were considered, in order to determine the extent to which the KIFC has contributed in the establishment or expansion of business concerns. The analysis and investigation (i.e. research findings) have revealed that the KIFC has performed well. However, the following recommendations were made with a view to improve the performance of KIFC: 1. The KIFC should embark on wide publicity about its activities and financial facilities 2. KIFC should have a continuous touch with the Stock Exchange (market). 3. The financial resources of the Company should be fully utilised or invested. 4. Improvement in management efficiency, more and proper staffing. 5. Diversification of securities held.
