Abstract
Project Management has been and continues to be a subject for concern because of its importance as well as its difficulty. Efforts must be made ho make it less difficult. In trying to make the subject less difficult, Project Management is divided into three viz: (a) Management Decision, (b) Project planning and, (c) project control. The research sought to apply these stages or phases of project Management to some selected World Bank Projects in Bauchi State. Among the objectives sought to be accomplished were: (1) Whether variations occured in the projects planned and their execution. (2) If problems militated against such projects and, (3) The benefits to be derived from such projects. Based on these objectives, the research found out among other things that: (1) Variations did occur between project planting and project implementation. (2) Problems also militated against the projects. (3) Project Management is a difficult subject and, (4) Alot of benefits could be derived from the project.
