dc.description.abstract | Health is important to any living creature Drugs is one of the key resources used in health care. Without drugs healthcare becomes incredible without drugs. The distribution system of drugs in Nigeria is therefore of critical importance in determining the availability of drugs to the consumers, taking cognizance of the appropriate form and dose. Drugs are special products that could be adversely affected by changes in temperature, humidity, light and a host of other factors. It is therefore important consequence on quality and efficacy of medicines. The drug distribution system in Nigeria is most unreliable, chaotic and yearning for overhaul. Whereas the objective of this study is viewed against the background that this factor impact directly on health and care. In a bid to sanitize the distributive system, both private and public pharmaceutical companies have applied various management and marketing techniques in the distributive chains. It is in the light of this that this study tries to assess the drug distribution system in both the private and public pharmaceuticals companies. | en_US |
