The study investigates the “Impact of Polygamy on Maguzawa Christians in Kaduna State, Nigeria” The study has four objectives, same with research questions and hypotheses are stated to examine the psychological, social, economic, and moral impact of polygamy on Maguzawa Christians in Kaduna State. The research population used for the study was 6216, with a sample size of 588 respondents. A set of questionnaire that seeks answers to the demographic variables of the respondents and the research items serves as the instrument for the study. Kaduna State is selected for the study because that is where the concentration of Maguzawa Christians can be found. Data generated are analyzed using Descriptive statistics such as frequency counts, Mean scores, percentage and t-test. Four hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance to determine the acceptance or rejection of the hypotheses. In the result of the test, all the hypotheses were confirmed. Positively, the findings of the study show that polygamy confers social advantages on families in the area of size, societal honour and posterity. Negatively, the study uncovers that polygamy creates a feeling of low self-esteem in women, insufficiency in material resources and low educational attainment. The conclusion from the study shows that polygamy is a socially accepted practice among Maguzawa Christians because of its cultural attachments. Christian education tailored towards exposing the moral implications of polygamy, its distortion of peace in the family, its economic demands and so on are some of the recommendations the study advances .en_US
