Abstract
This research looks at International Conilict and Economic Integration,
though as a case study of Sierra - Leone, had in recent years jeorpodised Economic
Integration and Economic Prosperity in the West African Sub - Region because of
its (Conilict) Punitive Impacts and its detesting effects that caused for the
destabilization of the economic base of the people, the impact of which was further
economic stressed due to the thorny effects of conflict.
This had led to throwing of the people of Sierra - Leone into confussion.
This and other problems that bedevilled West Africa have resulted into further
economic doom that shattered the realization of any tentative development, despite
huge and available human and material resources (he sub - region is blessed and
endowed with. The work ends with recommendations of what could be done to bail
the sub- region out of the present slate of economic uncertainties.
